Urgently needed!  Lead Football Coaches (Paid Role), Brighton

Brighton based football school, 5Ways Soccer are currently recruiting for FA qualified football coaches to join the team starting as soon as possible.  Successful candidates will need to have experience of working with young players of varying ability levels.  We have varied roles working with children from 4 -14 years.  The roles involve the planning and delivery of football sessions on Saturday mornings at Varndean College, Surrenden Road, BN1 6WQ during term time. 

Applicants must be, reliable, enthusiastic, committed and operate with an inclusive coaching philosophy.   They must also have a current FA coaching qualification and valid enhanced CRB (or be willing to complete one) . FA Level 2 is preferable but Level 1 coaches will be considered if they have some experience and can demonstrate that they have the necessary attributes required to lead a group of up to 14 children whilst ensuring the sessions are fun, inclusive and progressive.

When: Saturday mornings during term time, starting ASAP.

Rate of Pay: This is paid position offering competitive rates of pay relative to qualifications and experience.

We always need good reliable lead coaches and assistants to work at 5Ways Soccer, Brighton!

Please read on for further info about the types of roles we regularly recruit for and get in touch if you feel you can bring something to the team.

Whether it be as a regular Saturday Morning staff member or as bank staff to provide cover for absent coaches. Even if we do not currently have roles available we are always interested in hearing from you as we keep CVs on file and will often get back in contact with job opportunities at a later date as and when vacancies come up. 

We generally have opportunities in the following areas;

Volunteer Assistants: If you are between the ages of 14-16 have a background in football and an outgoing personality we may be able to help you gain some valuable work experience to count towards your Duke of Edinburgh or help build your CV.  If you can prove yourself reliable, dedicated and passionate about coaching, many of our Volunteers then go on to become regular Saturday Staff and go on to gain their first qualifications in football coaching. We will offer you mentoring and coaching experience.

Paid Assistants: Required to support lead coaches, gain experience and develop personally as coach with the aim of later becoming a lead coach. Often sourced from Volunteers who have proved themselves as promising coach prospects.

Paid Lead Coaches: Preferably Level 2 qualified or above but will also consider FA level One with experience and a desire to work towards their level 2. Completion of Youth Awards is also preferable. Lead Coaches are required to lead progressive coaching sessions for groups of up to 14 children at a number of different age groups, plan age appropriate sessions and provide a fun, active football experience for children on a Saturday morning.
